I'm a full-stack developer and serial builder with a deep passion for crafting products and experiences. I've been working on ScreenSlick on and off for over a year — it started because I wanted a screen recorder I could use from any computer, regardless of the OS. Linux, Mac, Windows — didn't matter.

I have a lifetime subscription to Screen Studio, but it started running slow after a while. As a tinkerer who's deep into AI and a fan of the Transformers.js library — which makes it possible to run small AI models right in the browser — I decided to build my own screen recorder with built-in AI features that run 100% locally.

AI subtitles, voice over, gesture detection, and more things coming in the pipeline are all part of this slick screen recorder that's now part of my day-to-day tools. I build with AI, for people who want to make better videos without the overhead.
