Hook Card
The opening title of a talking-head video, laid out around the speaker the project style's way: split with a torn or ruled seam, a taped photo, a terminal window or a rounded inset.
When to use it
The first 2–4 s of a talking-head or creator video, a section opener, a big promise. Layouts that frame the speaker (top, stack, collage, window, hud, frame, tv, inset) leave a hole: give the speaker's video clip this box for the hook's duration (split the clip at the hook's end).
